When opening and closing the stop valve, the force should be stable and no impact should be applied. When the stop valve is fully opened, the hand wheel should be reversed a little to tighten the threads to avoid loosening and damage. When the pipeline is first used, the stop valve can be slightly opened to use the high-speed flow of the medium to flush away the internal dirt, then gently close it and open it again. Repeat this process several times to flush away the dirt before putting it into normal operation. If the handwheel or handle is damaged or lost, it should be replaced immediately and should not be replaced with other tools to avoid damaging the valve stem and causing accidents during production. For stop valves in an environment contaminated by dirt, the valve stem should be equipped with a protective cover. The scale on the stop valve should be kept intact, accurate and clear. The lead seal, cap, pneumatic accessories, etc. of the stop valve should be complete and intact. The stop valve should be inspected regularly.
