

The marine cast iron fire valve is a valve specially designed for ship fire protection systems. It is mainly used to control fire water supply and is connected with water hoses, water guns, etc. to form an indoor fire extinguishing system. In addition to all the functions of ordinary indoor fire hydrants, it also has the function of free rotation of the water outlet and pressure reduction and stabilization, which makes installation more convenient, simplifies system design, and is safe and reliable to use. The flange connection size of the fire valve complies with the JIS B 2210 standard: ensure compatibility and stability with other parts of the ship. By reducing pressure and stabilizing pressure, the pressure of the fire protection system is guaranteed to be stable and the safety of use is improved. The water outlet can be rotated freely, which is convenient for installation and adjustment and simplifies system design.
Structural composition: Japanese standard marine cast iron fire valves are usually composed of valve body, valve cover, valve seat, opening and closing parts (such as gate), drive mechanism (such as valve stem) and seals (such as packing, gasket). These components work together to realize the opening and closing functions of the valve.
Working principle: The fire valve uses a driving mechanism (such as a manually operated handwheel) to make the opening and closing parts (such as gates) move up and down, thereby changing the flow area and controlling the flow and direction of the fluid. When the valve needs to be closed, the opening and closing parts descend to block the fluid channel; when it needs to be opened, the opening and closing parts rise to allow the fluid to pass smoothly.
Sealing performance: Japanese standard marine cast iron fire valves usually adopt soft seal or hard seal structure to ensure good sealing performance. This design can effectively prevent fluid leakage and ensure the stability and reliability of the valve under various working conditions.
Material characteristics: The valve body material is FC200 carbon steel, which has the advantages of low cost and strong corrosion resistance.
Application scenario
Marine cast iron fire valves can also be used in seawater systems, fresh water systems, fuel and lubricating oil systems of ships. In seawater systems, it is used to control the inlet and outlet of seawater to ensure the normal operation of ships; in fresh water systems, it plays a role in cutting off and controlling flow; in fuel and lubricating oil systems, it is suitable for the transportation and control of fuel and lubricating oil.
