Marine bronze fire valves refer to firefighting equipment used on ships. The valve body is made of bronze to ensure seawater corrosion resistance. It is mainly used to control and extinguish fires. Marine fire valves are usually installed on the fire pipe network of the ship and used in conjunction with fire hoses and water guns to ensure that the fire source can be effectively extinguished in an emergency. In addition to having all the functions of ordinary indoor fire hydrants, it also has the functions of arbitrary rotation of the water outlet and pressure reduction and stabilization, which makes installation more convenient, simplifies system design, and is safe and reliable to use. The flange connection size of the fire valve complies with the JIS B 2210 standard: ensuring compatibility and stability with other parts of the ship. There are many types of marine fire valves, one of the common types is the fire isolation valve. The main function of the fire isolation valve is to isolate the fire water on the deck and the engine room. Normally, the fire isolation valve remains open, and the ship can be supplied with fire water by the main fire pump, emergency fire pump and international shore connection. When the main fire pump supplies water, the isolation valve is opened, and there is fire water on both the deck and the engine room; when the isolation valve is closed, the main fire pump only supplies water to the engine room.

Marine bronze fire valves can also be used in the ship's seawater system, fresh water system, fuel and lubricating oil system, etc. In the seawater system, it is used to control the in and out of seawater to ensure the normal operation of the ship; in the fresh water system, it plays a role in cutting off and controlling the flow; in the fuel and lubricating oil system, it is suitable for the transportation and control of fuel and lubricating oil.
The main function of the marine fire valve is to isolate the fire water of the deck and the engine room. It is usually kept open. At this time, the ship can be provided with fire water by the main fire pump, emergency fire pump and international shore connector.
Working principle: The fire valve causes the opening and closing parts (such as the gate) to move up and down through the driving mechanism (such as a manually operated handwheel), thereby changing the flow channel area and controlling the flow and flow direction of the fluid. When the valve needs to be closed, the opening and closing parts descend to block the fluid channel; when it needs to be opened, the opening and closing parts rise to allow the fluid to pass smoothly.
Sealing performance: Japanese standard marine cast iron fire valves usually adopt soft sealing or hard sealing structures to ensure good sealing performance. This design can effectively prevent fluid leakage and ensure the stability and reliability of the valve under various working conditions.
