Marine Cast Steel Angle Check Valves have both the shut-off function of a stop valve and the anti-backflow function of a check valve. They rely on the pressure or gravity of the fluid itself to automatically open and close to prevent the fluid from flowing back. They are forced-seal valves. The valve body is made of SC480 carbon steel, and the disc and seat sealing surfaces are welded with iron-based alloy or cobalt-based hard alloy. The advantages are high strength and wear resistance, and they can work stably under high pressure and high temperature. Cast steel stop check angle valves are used to change the flow direction within a pipeline system. They have an inclined body, usually 90 degrees, allowing the pipeline to change direction without the need for additional connectors. These valves are often used where space is limited or where the pipeline requires a sharp turn. They are suitable for regulating or stopping the flow of liquids, gases or slurries in ship pipelines.
The design of Marine Cast Steel Angle Check Valves is more complex than that of stop valves, and usually includes a check mechanism and a stop mechanism. The check mechanism automatically switches on and off by fluid pressure or gravity, while the stop mechanism cuts off the fluid through external operation. This design allows the valve to regulate flow while preventing backflow. The stop check valve has a small opening height and short opening and closing time; it has good manufacturing processability, is easy to maintain, and has a wide range of pressure applications; the opening and closing parts of the stop check valve are plug-shaped discs, and the sealing surface is flat or conical. The stop valve also has relatively significant results in terms of resistance to seawater corrosion.

Advantages and applicable scenarios of cast steel materials
High temperature and high pressure resistance: Cast steel valves can work stably under high temperature (550-750℃) and high pressure environment, and are suitable for high temperature steam, oil and gas transportation and other scenarios.
High material strength: The yield strength of cast steel is twice that of ordinary carbon steel, and it can withstand greater pressure and impact.
Wide range of application: It supports a variety of sealing structures (automatic/forced sealing), suitable for pipeline interception control in tap water, petrochemicals, etc.
Flexible manufacturing process: The valve body with complex shapes can be produced through casting process, and the cost is relatively economical.
