Marine Cast Iron Globe Check Valves is mainly used to control fluid on and off, adjust flow, and prevent medium backflow to ensure stable pressure in the pipeline system. Its working principle combines the flow control function of the stop valve with the non-return function of the check valve.

Function
Stop function: Control the fluid on and off by lifting the valve stem, suitable for pressure/flow regulation of fresh water, seawater, lubricating oil, fuel oil and other media.
Check function: Gravity-assisted closing mechanism is adopted. When the medium stops flowing, the valve disc quickly closes by relying on its own weight and reverse pressure difference to prevent fluid backflow from causing system pressure fluctuations or equipment damage.
Pipeline protection: Applied to key parts such as the main engine cooling system and fuel delivery pipeline. For example, it can be installed at the outlet of the seawater pump to avoid seawater backflow and corrosion of equipment during shutdown, and extend the life of the heat exchanger.
Working principle
Structural composition: Marine Cast Iron Globe Check Valves adopts a swing structure, including valve body, valve cover, valve disc (stainless steel), rocker and sealing ring (nitrile rubber/fluoro rubber).
Sealing mechanism: When the flow is forward, the fluid pressure pushes the valve disc open; when the flow stops, the valve disc closes quickly under the action of gravity to achieve zero leakage sealing.
Material and standard: The valve body is made of FC200 or above cast iron material, which meets JIS standards, has a pressure resistance of 0.6-1.6MPa, and the operating temperature covers the range of commonly used media in ships.
